Description
This 1982 vinyl LP by Roberta Flack & Friends titled "Cream Smooth Jazz" is a must-have for any smooth jazz, easy listening, or jazz enthusiast. Not really a Roberta Flack album but a must have for completists ( if only for her jazzy version of ‘Lilac Wine’). Some songs sound like if you can imagine if a really good band had appeared on The Love Boat TV show from the ‘70’s. Really good and slightly cheesy at the same time. Featuring such artists as Bucky Pizzarelli (doing a great version of ‘Days of Wine And Roses), Grady Tate (doing an unintentionally ??? funny version of ‘Things For You To Do When I’m Not There….” ) and Pendarvis Orchestra. Roberta sings on Three tracks: ‘A Cool Glass Of Wine’, ‘Sweeter Than Wine’ and ‘Lilac Wine’. The 12'' record features 10 tracks with a speed of 33 RPM and is made of high-quality vinyl material. I must confess I recently purchased this in a BRAND NEW SEALED condition and opened it and only played this a few times because I’m a huge Roberta Flack fan. Unfortunately I’m trying to weed out my vast collection and decided to keep all my other Roberta Flack albums ( I recommend all her early albums) but this one goes in the EBay stack. The record label, Ron Records, released this LP in the United States and it comes in its original opened shrink wrap. The record grading is Excellent (EX) and the sleeve grading is also Excellent (EX). This LP is a Manischewitz promo edition and is perfect for collectors. Get your hands on this classic piece of music history today!
