Description

This McLaren F1 Road Car Coupe 1:12 die cast by Paul's Model Art, McLaren Series, First Edition is in excellent condition in the original and box. It is a nice replica of this British built high performance Supercar rear mid-engine sports car. First introduced at The Sporting Club, Monaco in 1992 only 106 total cars were produced between 1992 and 1998 including test cars and race versions. Although not originally designed as a race car a GTR model won the 1995 24 Hours Of Le Mans and in 1998 a Road Car F1 set the Guinness World Record for the fastest production car at 240.1mph. It is powered by the 618hp 6.1L BMW S70/2 naturally aspirated V-12 engine with 0-60mph in 3.2 seconds, 0-100mph in 6.3 seconds and a top speed of 231mph . The features include opening front compartment, opening scissor doors, detailed interior with center driver seat flanked by 2 passenger seats, opening left and right outside compartments, opening rear engine covers, moveable spoiler and active steering. It does not appear to have been previously displayed and it has no scratches, chips or dents. The box is in good shape with no tears and almost no shelf wear and the 2 piece Styrofoam liner has no chips or cracks. It will be packed in another box for shipping and I will combine items.
