Piers Courage Brabham BT26A - F1 Racing Car 1969 - Collectable Formula 1 Model Car - 1:43 Scale. Designed by Ron Tuaranac. The car was powered by a Ford Cosworth DFV 2993cc V8 mid-mounted longitudinal engine. The chassis used a fibreglass body on a tubular steel spaceframe, with stressed skin sections. This Model is approved and licenced by F1. Manufactured under licence from Brabham Branding Ltd This listing is for a Brand-New model in a Sealed and Un-opened blister-card box. (item No. 115483576950) This model in die-cast metal, a mini masterpiece of model engineering, surprisingly realistic and positioned on a stretch of track chicane. The model is perfect in every tiny detail of the original single-seater: livery, colours, decals, driver’s name, aerodynamic appendages, engines and mechanical parts, right down to the detailing in the cockpit – including the steering wheel, seat and even the seatbelts.
