DAVID HAMILTON - "THE HAMMOND MOODS OF DAVID HAMILTON" JOY 1970 UK STEREO LP ARTIST - DAVID HAMILTON TITLE - "THE HAMMOND MOODS OF DAVID HAMILTON" TRACKS - please see pictures above FORMAT - Vinyl LP OTHER DETAILS - • Joy Records JOYS 178, 1970 UK stereo pressing • Flipback sleeve • Plain paper inner Thankfully not the diminitive octogenarian DJ, this is in fact a Scottish organist of the same name who plays a selection of pop songs, show tunes and film themes, classics and Standards on the Hammond X66 electric organ. Backed by stellar musicians such as John Dean, Eddie Tripp and Laurie Steele who have worked as sessions musicians, in big bands and with artists as diverse as Paul McCartney, Harry Stoneham, Duane Eddy, Tiny Tim, Crspian St Peters and ...erm ... Don Estelle & Windsor Davies! There's lovely! The sleeve retains its shrinkwrap (opened) which has receded slightly from the side opening and has a couple of small tears, but has kept the cover in a generally clean EX condition - please see all pictures above. The record is visually VG+ with a few light, very light and hairline surface marks dotted about to each side only - nothing major at all and no deep or feelable marks or scratches. Please note that all vinyl is visually graded under a bright halogen bulb - it is only play-graded if specifically stated. Covers a nd labels are as seen in the pictures above (actual item always shown) - see below for record grading, which obviously applies to records which have been played ONLY! Visual gradings are as above . 3) I consider a surface mark or a surface scuff to be mark(s) which you can see but that are on the top surface of the record only and as such are 'non-feelable'. If you can actually feel a mark - for example, with a finger nail - then I would consider that to be a 'scratch' which would likely cause 'ticks', 'clicks' etc. during play. Any such marks will be clearly mentioned above . 4) Due to time constraints, all vinyl is visually graded under a bright halogen bulb - it is only play-graded if specifically stated. VINYL GRADING NEW: note that still sealed items will be presumed to be in 'new' condition, but are obviously sold as seen. Any visible signs of wear/storage etc. beneath the shrinkwrap will be mentioned. MINT: note please note that I will NEVER use the 'MINT' grade, as I think you are asking for trouble! The highest grade for an item that is not new will use will be NM (Near Mint). NEAR MINT (NM): The record itself is in very close to 'as new' condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality. The cover and any extra items such as the lyric sheet, booklet or poster are in almost perfect condition. EXCELLENT (EX): The record shows signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and/or creasing. VERY GOOD (VG): The record has obviously been played a number of times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and maybe some occasional light scratches. If there is any surface noise it will be occasional, light and unobtrusive. Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable. GOOD (G): The record has obviously been played a lot and while it still plays through OK, it will have a lot of surface marks and/or light scratches (maybe also the occasional 'feelable' scratch) and most likely there there will be regular and noticeable surface noise. The cover and contents may suffer from folding, scuffing of edges, spine and/or seam splits, discoloration, etc. TERMS & CONDITIONS *Important* - the ONLY countries I will send to by uninsured mail (for item(s)under £20) are as follows: - UK. Europe (EU countries ONLY and Norway). USA and Canada. Australia, New Zealand and Japan. If you live anywhere else then your parcel MUST be insured, the cost of which is to be covered by the buyer. Very sorry, but NO EXCEPTIONS to this rule. If you live in a country that I am prepared to send by regular, uninsured mail please bear in mind that I always get a receipt and proof of posting for every item sent, but THERE WILL NOT BE A TRACKING NUMBER UNLESS YOU HAVE PAID FOR INSURED/TRACKED MAIL . Should an item take longer than expected to arrive, I will do everything I can to help, but please don't assume that there is a tracking number! Most overseas buyers seem to assume this, for some reason! If you want the item to be tracked, please choose the International Signed and/or Signed & Tracked service option at checkout - thanks! Finally, please note that if your item (or if the combined values of the items in a single parcel) is £20.00 or above, then insurance is compulsory wherever you live. This is extra for 'Signed For' in the UK (up to the value of £50, after which extra cover will need to be paid for by the buyer) or via International Signed and/or Signed & Tracked for overseas buyers.
