Not sure how that would occur, but black smudges seem to be n the "record ring" . Please look closely at pictures, ask all the questions you want. RCA Inner sleeve, may have splits and cosmetic marks VG+ Play tested to confirm no skips or repeats. Since these are used records, we recommend careful cleaning upon receipt.
