Altaya / Panini 1/43 Mercedes AMG F1 W10 EQ Power + Lewis Hamilton 2019 Die Cast F1 Car Model Introduction : You will be bidding on a 1:43 scale die cast model of the Mercedes AMG F1 W10 Power Plus Formula One Car, entered by Mercedes-AMG F1 and driven by Lewis Hamilton in the 2019 F1 World Championship season. This model was produced by Altaya for a collectible series released by Panini and Centauria. The Mercedes F1 W10 EQ Power+ was a highly successful F1 car, designed under the direction of James Allison, Aldo Costa, Mike Elliot and a team of engineers for the 2019 F1 season. The car built on the teams success from previous seasons and secured an impressive tally of race wins across the season with 15 in total, 11 for Hamilton and a further 4 for team mate Valteri Bottas, resulting in a sixth drivers championship title for British racer Lewis Hamilton and a record equalling 6th consecutive Constructors title for Mercedes. This model is finished in the special livery which was used exclusively at the 2019 German Grand Prix to mark the 125th Anniversary of Mercedes in motorsport. This Model : This model is in great condition throughout. The car itself is in perfect condition and is still housed in the original clear plastic case which is free of cracks or significant marks or scratches, and is still attached to the original base which is painted to represent a section of track and comes with a placard of details for the car. Model Details : This is a high quality scale replica of the F1 car it represents. It has a bucket seat with harness details and steering wheel within the cockpit, the correctly shaped air-box and camera fittings behind the drivers seat and an accurately shaped Halo device for protecting the driver. Externally the car is well cast with sharp lines and fine smaller details such as suspension arms and wishbones, rear view mirrors, accurate front and rear wing aero shape and details including the DRS actuator, barge boards and various other aero device details. It also has great looking black and turquoise racing rims and Pirelli P-Zero branded slick racing tyres, marked with red to denote the soft compound is fitted. Sponsor and race markings are all sharp, clearly produced and correctly positioned throughout the model too and overall it makes for a great looking replica of this successful recent Formula One car design for any car collection.
